I'm obsessed with identity-making through clothing. It is a topic I love enough to try my hand at writing on it!!

I have been in the greater Boston/Cambridge area for nearly 12 years now and always had my foot out the door. This past year has been one of incredible transformation for me. I have learned a lot about life- the foremost lesson being that I live everyday fully being present in myself... and as my body is crucial to this process and most decidedly in this place, I had to let the door close and sit in this city.

Sometime during the past half year, I have come to realize my affection for it. In gratitude, I'd like to gift a lil something back to this town and to the wonderful folks I have met during my journey here >> and what better way than a forum where folks can discuss street fashion in Boston?

Several months ago, I started cataloging design elements both in my wardrobe and without - that appeal to me. I will share these images and text shortly.

The authors invited to this blog will be creating similar clothing-identity profiles over the next few months to facilitate this conversation.
